About The Artist

A Minneapolis based artist, Michaela used art as a means to travel the world in her early twenties. Acrylic being her typical medium, her style is "really anything that allows me to play with light, and bring beautiful things to life". You can see her murals and canvases at various areas of the world, including a backpacker's hostel in Malawi, in schools across Uganda, and more locally, in restaurants around Minneapolis. She finds her inspiration from travel, nature, and the simple things in life.
