About The Artist

A Minneapolis based artist, Michaela used art as a means to travel the world in her early twenties. Acrylic being her typical medium, her style tends to focus on nature, animals, and travel - preferably with a whimsical flair. You can see her murals and canvases at various areas of the world, including a backpacker's hostel in Malawi, in schools across Uganda, and more locally, in restaurants around Minneapolis. You can also find her live pet sketches completed at art and dog rescue events across the twin cities.
